Went to visit mother-in-law yesterday in the Care Home. She has settled in really well. I hadn't seen her for over a month! The home was closed for 2 weeks due to S & D and then I was ill for 2 weeks. There was a photographer there so her daughter's dressed her up smartly for it. It was a shame they didn't get all 5 sisters and 2 brothers there together. My hubby is still ill, one sister is very poorly and housebound and the other one didn't want to come! The family are sorting her house out as she won't be going back there. I've never seen so much stuff.

I don't have any plan with the vets chantel, too expensive with 4 cats and 1 dog. I will probably do it when I get down to 2 cats and 1 dog. Much cheaper for you with the new vet for Freddy. Β£60 for a consultation at my vets! Like you spider, I do the worming and flea treatment myself.

Thats good , how was she last night , is it only at night she coughs Mostly only at night she coughs. She didn't cough quite as much. She was a little horror to give her tablet to. I was expecting it to be easy, I put it inside a small chunk of ham, she ate the ham but the tablet came out. Then I tried chicken, same again.i had some sliced chicken left left so rolled it up in that and it worked. Last night was worse. Put in it a chunk of fish, than chicken. Had to smother the chicken in Lik-e-lix and eventually she ate it.

Yes, I am sad too that Star has gone elsewhere, but you are right spider. You know he has gone to a really good home. I don't think it was an easy decision for you to make, but it was the best one for Star.

Glad Willow is ok π» Riley has a cough but he doesnβt do it all the time ,it sounds like he is trying to clear his throat especially if he has got warm. lotsofcats iββm presuming you are in some kind of plan with the vets to cover worming/ flea treatments and booster / checkups? Iβm in one - but the vets have cottoned on to make more money π° when they were due a health check it was always with a vet which was good because you could mention any concerns you had. Well now it is with a nurse and if you want anything checking you have to book a consultation with a vet separately βΉοΈ And it has also increased from Β£17:99 to Β£20:99 each for Riley and Elsa and Freddyβs isΒ£19.99 π‘ I have recently registered Freddy at a new vets that was recommended by someone at work , they are much cheaper. I know pay Β£12:00 for Freddy and we had to take him for a check up last week and the vet was really nice. The pigs are registered there too because they have an exotic vet. How does this plan work well I do town and home for worms etc myself once a year we go get booms vaccination done and a quick checkup
