Apart from the hot flushes, (which I still sometimes get 10+ years) then I sailed through it, but my sister was on HRT and she suffered when she had to come off it. She was told by the doctor that you can only be on it for so long. She also had to have vit D or B injections (I can't remember which) as she was low on it, and that was causing a lot of the symptoms, i.e. itching during the night.
I believe Evening Primrose is good to try too.

Those mesh nets are ideal for this chantel , they use velcro strips on the window frame & the meshes have velceo edges for easy to peel to open & close the window & press down again to seal. Have a look at www.flatcats.co.ukThey do standard sizes & custom sizes (we landed up with custom sizes for all 6 windows as when measured they weren't identical. They were very helpful on the phone for any info. thanks tonib I will have a π look.

Iβm on HRT mainly due to my really bad anxiety , I have been on it for around 18 months but my periods are hit and miss . The main thing I am struggling with is anxiety and sleep issues. Iβm reducing my HRT at the moment due to having hallucinations during the night - HRT might be the problem so when I start taking the progesterone again and if the hallucinations return I will consider coming off HRT all together , I have just got to see . I have never ever experienced anxiety this bad before, but at the moment the HRT is helping with that.

Ladies as I see subject has included menopause, anyone with any perimenopause advice it would be greatly appreciated! What food or supplements you would suggest? No typical symptoms yet (so delaying trying HRT) but mental health, sleep pattern etc is shockingly bad and age means perimenopause could be factor.
Trying doTERRA Women Phytoestrogen Essential Complex at moment. Running it for a couple more months to see if it is really helping my period pain etc or just variation in cycles but its not doing anything for the mental health side so starting to doubt estrogen fluctuations is main issue.
Has anyone tried Ashwagandha?
