Last night, Connie lost the use of her back legs and she didn't eat her dinner. This morning, unfortunately, her back legs still weren't working so we took the unbelievably hard decision to take her to the vet so she is now asleep.
Connie was a fighter. She has arthritis in her knees since she was two years old but that never stopped her, she put up a fight up until last night, unfortunately that one she couldn't win.
She had been slowing down a lot so we knew the day would come but it doesn't make it any easier. She was 14 years and 7 months!!
No doubt she's now chasing wabbits with her brother Cobra who went to sleep on 30th December last year.
Both Connie and Cobra had a great (long) life and brought so much joy. They were the best.
