tonib I'd recommend the sprats for cats, haha, Mieze loves them (and tried to rob some out my bag just yesterday, cheeky!) although Carlotta wasn't so big a fan to be fair. You can get them in packs from Zooplus, I've just ordered some actually and I'd imagine also in pet shops as I used to get them form my old work by Trixie and another firm. I like to give Mieze hers in a treat ball as they can be broken up quite easily and if you have a wooden floor and a dog like ours then it's not a bother to clean up after haha. Not that Mieze actually leaves anything.
They do look good alfiemummy I wonder if our cats would like the dried sprats? Did you dry them yourself or where did you get them from?
I was going to suggest that to one of my clients as she has two cats (and two rabbits!) as well as the dog - I think cats would like them, they are a good size too as they are quite small. I got them from Zooplus
Beau went to the Parlour Saturday, when we arrived there was a box of goodies on the floor, his nose went straight into it sniff sniff sniffing They laughed and told him he has to WAIT till he's been spruced up
What a lovely surprise for us so YES totally agree that's a lovely thing you do alfiemummy
I'm definitely too much of a softy for my own good...
Had 2 texts for extra dogs to walk today (not regulars so I hadn't made them a box) Ended up making myself late for work just to put a couple more together in time. When I got to my first walk she said she was just about to call me as she was worried if something had happened to me because I'm never 'late' (i say late but I'm not set a time for the first dog, just I'm usually always there at the exact same time each day so just late compared to usual). She just laughed and told me off (not for being late, for apologising! ) when I apologised and explained why I was later than usual.
As if the dogs would know they'd missed out on a present - but I'd know!
They ended up with slightly different treats, and Alfie now secretly hates me as I've given all his goodies away and he's left with barely anything.
The extra boxes have the Akela (but a larger amount to fill up more of the box), the salmon & rice bones (but a tiny amount as there were barely any left) and sprats (all the liver was used in the other boxes - hope I don't get complaints about the sprats again ) One of the boxes also got a few *whispers* schmackos - only because the dogs I gave them to eat those kind of treats anyway, and I had a bag free when I ordered from Zooplus

caz2golden: Sorry not on much my PC is sending me around the bend every time I use mouse it double clicks when I only single clicked! Part of me is hoping it is a windows issue that will get updated rather than just PC getting old and broken!

alfiemummy: It's most likely your mouse that needs replacing Caz - that's happened to me twice now and both times it's been fixed by getting a new mouse

tonib: Sounds like it was a good job we didn't have Roman as a kitten then. He's never misbehaved like that, only his first Xmas with us when he half-inched the stuffing! - I hope that's not famous last words!

tonib: Lexie is another matter but usually not breakables - except potentially of herself when she fell behind the large display cabinet/sideboard on being left alone for the 1st time in our dining room aged 2.5 years!!!

tonib: She jumped on top (via the table I believe) & managed to fall between it & the wall & appeared to be suspended by her head part way down (the gap narrowed!) I had to get a burly neighbour in to help move it, quickly moving weight/breakables as pos. 1st

tonib: She was fine but got checked by vet just in case! That was a heart stopping time, especially her cries!
