Hi Bronte, welcome to the forum. I'm cazypops and I have a parsons russell called jasper and two moggies called Flirty and Bandit.
I drive a Suzuki Swift and that has plenty of room for Jasper on the back seat, but it's not good if I'd wanted to put him in the boot part. A friend I work with has a Corsa, and she has a BC that goes in the boot of her car with plenty of room.
Hope that helps, and we'd love to hear more about you and your pets.
I think it would depend how many and what size dogs you have, and where you'd prefer them to travel?
I drive a Ford Fiesta (old 2007 shape) and can easily fit 2 small/medium size dogs on the rear seat, the boot can comfortably fit a dog about the size of a Springer or Collie - anything much bigger and it would be a bit cramped. My brother used to have a Corsa, but it was the older model. It had about the same amount of space as my car does, the newer Corsas look to be about the same sort of size.
Hi Bronte, welcome to the forum I drive a Suzuki Celerio which is a smaller car than the Swift, but it has a bigger boot. I can fit my English Springer, Springer Cross and our Jack Russell in the boot comfortably, although admittedly they've never done a long journey in there.

We have between us a Skoda Roomster and a VW Polo. I don't know how small is small to you, but a Roomster isn't that big and yet has TONS of boot space. We fit our Labrador and Setter both in the back with room for another small dog
The Polo would only fit one medium to small dog in the boot but could easily fit both our dogs on the back seats. They used to both happily sit on the back seats of a Ford KA!

Honda Jazz owner here, dogs go in middle of the car. The seats fold upwards giving good amount of space in the foot well. So glad we don't put dogs in the boot, today while mum was waiting to get out of a junction someone rear ended us in a 4x4 type car (we were stationary)! The three dogs seem totally fine we are rather shaken up and I know I am feeling sore! Poor mums little jazz is looking worse for wear and has reminded me why we don't put dogs in the boot as the rear of the car is designed to buckle in an accident. My Jazz is in for mot and service tomorrow so we wont be able to get dogs back into car till Saturday to make sure they have not been affected by incident.

caz2golden: Sorry not on much my PC is sending me around the bend every time I use mouse it double clicks when I only single clicked! Part of me is hoping it is a windows issue that will get updated rather than just PC getting old and broken!

alfiemummy: It's most likely your mouse that needs replacing Caz - that's happened to me twice now and both times it's been fixed by getting a new mouse

tonib: Sounds like it was a good job we didn't have Roman as a kitten then. He's never misbehaved like that, only his first Xmas with us when he half-inched the stuffing! - I hope that's not famous last words!

tonib: Lexie is another matter but usually not breakables - except potentially of herself when she fell behind the large display cabinet/sideboard on being left alone for the 1st time in our dining room aged 2.5 years!!!

tonib: She jumped on top (via the table I believe) & managed to fall between it & the wall & appeared to be suspended by her head part way down (the gap narrowed!) I had to get a burly neighbour in to help move it, quickly moving weight/breakables as pos. 1st

tonib: She was fine but got checked by vet just in case! That was a heart stopping time, especially her cries!

lotsofcats: I can remember when that happened with Lexi.
