I would like to introduce myself. My name is Holly and I have just started as a dog walker/pet sitter. I have a long history of looking after dogs. My mum's dog is a Cavachon, who is 3 years old, Bailey Before this we had a West Highland Terrier who lived to old age.
I recently worked as a medical secretary but find this job way more rewarding
I have been lucky enough to have a few dogs to care for already. I looked after a puppy today while the lady was in work, which was the best job ever I also walked a West Highland Terrier this morning with a great character
If any of you are from Swansea and are looking for a walker or sitter. Please consider me and check out my gumtree advert - Holly's Dog Walking - Alternatively you can add my Facebook page Holly's Dog Walking/Pet Sitting.
Hi Holly.Welcome to the forum,it's very friendly. Yours sounds like a great job,as well as looking after peoples pooches, you will get to know some lovely people and great characters. My dog is Skip a Border Collie/Sheltie X, who is 14 yrs old,and adopted from the RSPCA 13 yrs ago.
Hi Holly and welcome to another Welsh person on the forum. I'm Jenny and I'm from Torfaen and I have 7 cats and 1 dog. What a lovely job you have - although I wouldn't enjoy it if you had my dog Kobi to walk - he's as strong as an ox and I can't hold him to walk him, especially when he meets other dogs on his walks!
What a beautiful part of Wales you are from - great for your dog walking.

Welcome to the forum hollyshoare. Although a cat owning member of the forum I enjoy reading about all the pets members have so look forward to hearing more about your (or your mum's) pets as well as the adventures you have in your job
Happy days with Roman, Osiris & Lexie (remembering Chloe & Penny)
tonib: Sounds like it was a good job we didn't have Roman as a kitten then. He's never misbehaved like that, only his first Xmas with us when he half-inched the stuffing! - I hope that's not famous last words!

tonib: Lexie is another matter but usually not breakables - except potentially of herself when she fell behind the large display cabinet/sideboard on being left alone for the 1st time in our dining room aged 2.5 years!!!
Jul 20, 2018 13:27:50 GMT
tonib: She jumped on top (via the table I believe) & managed to fall between it & the wall & appeared to be suspended by her head part way down (the gap narrowed!) I had to get a burly neighbour in to help move it, quickly moving weight/breakables as pos. 1st

tonib: She was fine but got checked by vet just in case! That was a heart stopping time, especially her cries!

lotsofcats: I can remember when that happened with Lexi.
