Yesterday we picked up our new dog Ellie from the Dogs Trust. She is about 2 years old and came over from Ireland, where she was from a puppy farm and no longer wanted as she didn't come in to season. She is a very nervous little dog and will only go outside when following Poppy & Fern.
With help from scallywag I can now post a photo of her!

Congratulations sodapop on your new furbaby Ellie 😊She is absolutely beautiful.she will be a great addition to your family. It will probably take a while but she will soon realise how lucky she is to have found a family to give her all the love she deserves x Love the photo x
Thank you all for your messages. Ellie is already getting more confident in the house and sleeping on the sofa and has had a few chews on the nylabones!
Only problem at the moment is that she won't do her business outside or in front of us, so goes in the puppy pen when we leave her.
cazypops she has one blue eye and one brown eye. Poppy & Fern aren't too bad with her, there is a bit of growling between Fern and Ellie, but they are as bad as each other. Nothing too bad though.
Poppy was sick through the night last night and took her to the vets this morning. The vet couldn't find anything to worry about and gave her some omeprazole tablets, as there was a little blood in her sick. She hasn't been sick since this morning but is a bit quieter than usual.
Poppy is a bit better thank you, but still a bit quiet.
scallywag no she hasn't had another fit thankfully, but I'm wondering whether it's anything to do with Ellie being here. Ellie has been showing her teeth at Poppy a bit and I'm so surprised that Poppy hasn't told her off yet! I guess with time they will sort themselves out.
Yes it's very early days. If only Poppy would give her a telling off, she would take more notice of that than me telling her not to do it! I think when Poppy is better she will sort her out! Once they sort the pack order out it should settle down, I guess. If we have problems then I will call the Dogs Trust for help from the behaviourist.
scallywag: why ? did they get out the bed wrong side ? or was it the parking and the weather

Gillykat: Hahaha I forgot the proper terminology was dinner. See, to me, dinner is what you have middle of the day....as in breakfast then dinner then tea then supper . I love the differences in words and meanings in various parts of the UK
