I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for hotels for Crufts? I’ve been before but always as a day trip, never stayed before. With Millie though I’ll have to be there early, too early to drive the same day! I know some people on here stay though and was wondering if you could recommend anywhere that accepts dogs? Thanks!
Sorry don't have a recommendation for one that takes dogs as we use Premier Inn where they're not allowed. I will say though that the sooner you book the better as the prices are mental! It may also be better to stay a bit further away and just do a little drive in between. The one barley and I are staying at is in Coventry as it worked out a lot cheaper.
Travelodge take dogs. We stayed in the one at Fort Dunlop last year and are booked there for next year too. But there are quite a few in Birmingham, and I'm sure there's one right near the NEC if you wanted to be closer. I think Fort Dunlop is about half an hour or so away.
ETA: If you don't mind a half hour drive, the West Bromwich travelodge is a new hotel and much, much cheaper than any of the ones actually in Birmingham.

Great, thank you! - will have a look at Travelodge and see if there’s a Holiday Inn! I thought prices might be mad, hence I’m asking now!
When I looked last night, my search was for 3 adults in one room for 3 nights and it came out at £95 at the West Bromwich travelodge so I think they'd be your best bet if you want cheap! The hotel is new so the rooms should be spot on in terms of cleanliness etc. too.
One thing is though that Travelodge charge £20 for a dog staying so it'll add a bit to the price. I'm not sure if Holiday Inn charge for dogs though. I only really know about Travelodge because that's who we use when we're travelling for HTM. Days Inn are good, they only charge £5 for dogs, but not sure if there's one near Birmingham, never mind the NEC lol.
Good to hear from you zahada! Yes, I’m the GCDS Pre Beginner Obedience Stakes.
Thats really helpful orpheous87, thanks! That is a good price, I’ll look them up, sounds like it could be ok for us. I wasn’t aware of the extra charge for dogs, but if that’s all the hotel is I’m the first place then it’s not really a problem!

Good luck milliepup04. I'm sure you'll sail through with flying colours.
There is no such thing as a naughty dog, only an untrained one!

alfiemummy: It's most likely your mouse that needs replacing Caz - that's happened to me twice now and both times it's been fixed by getting a new mouse
