lotsofcats He'll eat under protest the RC renal Chicken & Tuna but the beef is not a popular flavour. At the moment we're mixing a pouch of renal with either one of the chicken or fish (depending on the renal flavour) Applaws 70g tins along with his Ipakatine powder. Not ideal but he won't eat it on its own & he's very picky over his normal food. every so often we sneak in a ordinary cat food pouch (senior if possible) but its rarely eaten & hence the renal food isn't.
He's coming up to his 6 month renal check-up. I'm debating whether to get him to the vets before their cattery visit at the end of the month or after. If before at least I can ask them to clip his claws before the cattery!
Happy days with Roman, Osiris & Lexie (remembering Chloe & Penny)
Osiris, 12 years a fool? Have you considered a therapist? Personally I think you are good as you are, if only you will be nice to your sister. Definitely first to the vet. Hills has the food with chicken flavour. Most of the cats I know prefer Hills to RC (including mine).
Missed a very important birthday happy birthday u were spoiled when mr moonbeam was a kitten we had him on rc he loved it but vet said to much sugars and he put him in hills and he been in it all his days now im sure had the vet sold rc he wouldnt have said that but who knows
There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: Music and Cats

caz2golden: Sorry not on much my PC is sending me around the bend every time I use mouse it double clicks when I only single clicked! Part of me is hoping it is a windows issue that will get updated rather than just PC getting old and broken!

alfiemummy: It's most likely your mouse that needs replacing Caz - that's happened to me twice now and both times it's been fixed by getting a new mouse

tonib: Sounds like it was a good job we didn't have Roman as a kitten then. He's never misbehaved like that, only his first Xmas with us when he half-inched the stuffing! - I hope that's not famous last words!

tonib: Lexie is another matter but usually not breakables - except potentially of herself when she fell behind the large display cabinet/sideboard on being left alone for the 1st time in our dining room aged 2.5 years!!!
Jul 20, 2018 13:27:50 GMT
tonib: She jumped on top (via the table I believe) & managed to fall between it & the wall & appeared to be suspended by her head part way down (the gap narrowed!) I had to get a burly neighbour in to help move it, quickly moving weight/breakables as pos. 1st

tonib: She was fine but got checked by vet just in case! That was a heart stopping time, especially her cries!

lotsofcats: I can remember when that happened with Lexi.
