Ha ha ha I’m Scottish and I can’t handle anything over 14c!!! Been 24c here today in Edinburgh. Along with work colleagues I did the Race for Life yesterday was 21c, legs all burnt oops but great day 😁😁
cazypops daft Jasper, did he twist a nail getting his paw stuck do you think?
Dotty always comes to bed with me, other night about ten minutes after going to bed she came to me for a cuddle and just in the shadows I thought something isn’t right, she’d only gone and got her head stuck in the small part of Mr Peperami, eek, not tight enough to choke but scared me nonetheless, had this toy for 7 years and nowt happened, supervision only now me thinks! The things they get up to eh!
Lovely day here today, beautiful sunshine and highs of eight degrees! Snow all gone except for high grounds. Had a great hour at the beach with hardly a soul in sight, Dotty now conked out leaving her sand from the beach everywhere 😅😅
Has been heavy rain rain here in Edinburgh since Monday, and today it has snowed all day, thought the worst was all over and temps would begin to rise but apparently not sigh. Think this is the longest winter I’ve ever had the heating on eek 😬
Just on the subject of MOTs and seatbelts....my other half’s car once failed it’s MOT as on the once odd occasion years ago when Dotty did have to travel in the back of his car (think mine was in for its service or something like that) and the seatbelt attachment was in the middle seatbelt position, but the mechanic just could not could get it to release!! Didn’t matter that no one ever travelled in the back at all ever, still failed. Anyway dunno what happened but for the following two years the same company passed the car, they’d built up a relationship with my other half by this point as he was getting a lot of work done with them as well, and dunno but one day a different mechanic just persevered and he managed to get it out. Ha ha, now if Dotty is in that car we use one of the other attachments but still weird 😬😂😂
Weather here in Edinburgh is awful at the moment, we’re on red alert, though trying to remember if it’s as bad as 2010, my other half tells me not yet. All buses and trains cancelled, most of shops on Princes St had closed by 3pm, I started work at half two and supposed to be on until half eleven but had to shut shop at 7pm, half our staff couldn’t get in, just watching as the few buses on way back to depot sliding about on steep hill, scary. Supposed to be day off tomorrow but as I’m local and half an hours walk away I stupidly said I’d go in to open at for half five. Sounded a good idea at the time. Will see what the day brings. Stay safe and warm everyone x
Hi all, for those going to the EzyDog stall I received an email from them this morning saying if you present the email you’ll get 10% off, not a lot but better than nowt, so get signed up if you think you’ll purchase from their stall, or I can send the email on 😃
I’m sure there was a thread somewhere about this but can’t find it now so apologies....anyway I’ve just got tickets for his tour next year when he comes to Edinburgh, so excited!!!

caz2golden: Sorry not on much my PC is sending me around the bend every time I use mouse it double clicks when I only single clicked! Part of me is hoping it is a windows issue that will get updated rather than just PC getting old and broken!

alfiemummy: It's most likely your mouse that needs replacing Caz - that's happened to me twice now and both times it's been fixed by getting a new mouse

tonib: Sounds like it was a good job we didn't have Roman as a kitten then. He's never misbehaved like that, only his first Xmas with us when he half-inched the stuffing! - I hope that's not famous last words!

tonib: Lexie is another matter but usually not breakables - except potentially of herself when she fell behind the large display cabinet/sideboard on being left alone for the 1st time in our dining room aged 2.5 years!!!

tonib: She jumped on top (via the table I believe) & managed to fall between it & the wall & appeared to be suspended by her head part way down (the gap narrowed!) I had to get a burly neighbour in to help move it, quickly moving weight/breakables as pos. 1st

tonib: She was fine but got checked by vet just in case! That was a heart stopping time, especially her cries!

lotsofcats: I can remember when that happened with Lexi.
