Me too caz2golden! No snow here in Edinburgh, but apparently lots north, south and west of us, will just have to wait our turn. Perhaps still too cold for snow here as I believe it has to be cold then get a bit warmer for snow to form, fingers crossed as Dotty loves the snow 😄
Arghhh I’m raging tonight, random fireworks going off straight over the road and Dotty has completely shut down even with bandana and stress spray. We live in centre of Edinburgh so have a whole month of fireworks in August for festivals, sometimes twice a day, and she is fine with those, obviously different style but these I’ve never seen her so bad. I sign all the petitions going every year. Surely the fact tens of thousands of people sign these every single year means something needs to be done to prohibit the public buying fireworks?!! So angry and so sorry for my wee girl I can’t do anything else to help her 😔😔
My friend uses a stress calming spray straight onto a bandana round her dogs neck as well as on her bed etc. Seems to me like it might help as then always within their nostrils if you know what I mean. Hope he settles okay x
Edit .... ps should have added the spray my pal uses is from RSPCA and whilst Lady is not completely calm she is definitely much less scared with it than without it. Such a shame as otherwise she is a completely bombproof dog x
Bit late to the party lol....I’ve got a cordless Dyson animal v6, when I first got it about a year ago it was such a novelty for me and I couldn’t believe the suction, used to whizz about the house 3 times a day ha ha and sook up all those swirls of dog hair that gather in the corner. Nowadays I’m pretty sure I don’t hoover as much as I should do, certain of it infact ha ha, so for the carpeted bedrooms I’ll maybe need to go over twice but for the laminate areas it’s great. Though due to size of ball on joint at bottom it doesn’t get quite as far under sofa/table etc as old hoover used to. Due to Dottys long hair I do have to clear out the roller brush more than I would otherwise but not a problem and easy to do. My friend just recently got a shark and she loves it, she’s had cats in the past but not at the moment. Have you decided yet what to do? I love a good hoover recommendation lol
Dotty has used csj for years, never had any bother with her teeth and vet always comments how good her teeth are, she's 7 years old now. Must admit she goes through phases of having more chews and bones and when she's not having as many bones her teeth do start to get a bit brown again but then they soon clean up quickly enough. She gets her teethed brushed once a week, must do it more though!
